Trends change, but the charm and value of genuine wood as flooring material remain unchanged.
The ParlaFix parquet is unique on the market, due to its durability and dimensional stability. ParlaFix floorboards consist of three overlapping layers, each made from real wood, strengthening each other. The unique structure has been designed for durability, and especially so that the wood will expand as little as possible. The dimensional stability of the floorboards is also influenced by the moisture characteristics of the timber, which have been adjusted to optimal levels during the manufacturing process. Locking tongues and grooves are situated on four sides of the floorboards, making installation easier and quicker. The floorboards will be installed as a floating floor, the boards will become interlocked thanks to the tongue and groove system. In order to guarantee exceptional abrasion resistance, the surface of the floorboards has been treated six (6) times, with a safe and innovative lacquer.

Three layer structure
All of the components of 14 mm thich ParlaFix parquet board are real wood. Parquet board is composed of three mutually supporting layers. The construction is developed durable and particularly in a way to counteract warping. The dimensional stability of ParlaFix parquet board is improved also by controlling the moisture characteristics optimally in the manufacturing process.
The hardwood surface of the parquet board mainly highlights the natural beauty of wood and its outstanding and individualistic design. The surface has an influence on durability and life of parquet floor. Softwood from Nordic forests make the core of the Parla parquet. In the north wood grows slowly and sturdily which makes wood extremely good quality and hard-wearing. The grain in the middle layer is vertical improving the parquet´s durability and preventing shape changes. Bottom layer gives support to the entire stucture. Professionally manufactured parquet won´t warp or bend.
Oak is among the world's oldest and most popular timbers used in interiors. Its hard and heavy wood is excellent in application requiring great strength and durability. Oak´s yellowish-white sapwood is readily distinguishable from the darker heartwood. The grain pattern is clear and readily observable on a dressed piece of wood. A floor made of oak-wood may become a little darker as a result of the impact of sunlight. We import our oak-wood mainly from Hungary, Poland and Lithuania.
Antiqued Oak Villa
Antiqued Oak Villa has lively and original appearance with knots, strong grain patterns and colour variations of oak. The dimensions of Villa parquet board are: 14 x 190 x 2195 mm, the uniform surface layer is 190 mm wide. The edges of hardwood layer are slightly bevelled that give a "plank look" to a floor.
A surface treatment brings out the unique beauty of the wood. The surface treatment highlights the natural beauty of timber, and is bound to the surface of the floorboards.
The surface treatment makes the floor durable, and easy to clean. The surface of the floorboards has been treated six (6) times, with an efficient and safe varnish. The lacquer protects surface of the parquet from scratches. It inhibits germ development by not having them a breeding ground in the surface of the parquet.
When choosing the surface treatment agent, we have also considered its safety and environmental impact, in addition to the traditional dirt- and moisture-resistance, and abrasion resistance. This surface treatment agent meets strict European norms, as well as the Finnish M1 norms (highest category) of the emission classification for building materials.
The gloss level of matt lacquer is 10o Gardner.
